Moms with low Vitamin D levels

I am a mom yet to be in about seven months from now my baby will be born.  So I have been reading like a mad man tyring to know a much as possible.  I am glad I am pregnant but it was a surprise for my husband and I.  Therefore we are tying to play catch up.   Is your Vitamin D Level important for baby teeth development?  I am getting bit a parts the make it seem like it is.  How does low vitamin D levels effect  a your baby teeth when they do not get teeth until months after they are born?
