At what age do babies start to laugh and smile

Waiting for a real smile

I have a new born about going on two weeks.  I was just wondering when do babies get more aware of things?  When to they start to laugh and smile for real?   At what age do they like playing with their babies toys like rattles ?  Would like an idea of time frame I know all babies are different.
