One month old baby and extensive dental work needed

I need a lot of dental work

I will be having extensive dental work, two root canals with crowns, six  filling and then whitening.  I am really looking forward to having the work done since I have been putting it off during the time I was pregnant with my son.
Since I breast feed my son I got all the information on what to take and still be okay to nurse. What I am wanting to know is if anyone had extensive dental work and still had a very little baby to take care of?  If so any helpful tips for me.  Things I should know that may help me with my son after I get this dental work.  I know I will be in some pain.
