Too old for baby teeth

Wednesday, Dec. 30th 2009 10:39 PM

My daughter is 12

My daughter is 12 years and a few months old and still has eight baby teeth.  The dentist said her adult teeth are there just not ready to come out yet but are in good lineament.  That she may need to just have her baby teeth pulled for them to come up.  I would think a girl her age would have lost her baby teeth by now.

Since they are not hurting her should she have to have them pull?  Since the adult teeth seem to be coming in straight should I pull out the baby teeth?  Is it necessary?
