Pregnant and can not afford dental care

Wednesday, Jan. 6th 2010 4:39 PM

24 years old and no dental insurance

I am seven months pregnant and I currently unemployed with no dental insurance. The last time I went to the dentist about a year ago I was told I had two filling that needed to be done.  At that time I could not afford to have them filled so I just got a cleaning.

Now one on of the teeth that need the filling is starting to hurt on and off.  I need to get the work done after I have my baby but by then I really will not have any money.  I need help.  Where can I go for free or at least go where the dentist would accept a payment plan.

I live in VA and tried calling some dentist around me but they said I need to have very good credit for them to offer a payment plan. My credit is only so so.   Please help any advise would be great
