Feb. 28th 2010

Help my baby does not sleep well

So my six month old son really does not sleep well at night. He keeps fussing or just waking up about every 45 minutes to an hour. What can I do to get him to have more solid sleep at night. He is sleeps okay during his day time nap about two to three hours. Am I letting him sleep to long during the day? Advise needed.

How can you make brushing your teeth fun for your child

Feb. 27th 2010

My daughter is seven and although she does brush her teeth is is a bit of  hazel every time. When  I tell her it is time to brush she wines about it.  If she goes and brushes her teeth with out complaining then she does a really half ass job.  She already had two cavities that had to get fillings, but that does not seem to bother her since she likes going to the dentist.

I Need Emergency Dental Care

Feb. 26th 2010

Help my five year old has a toothache.

My son has a really bad toothache.  He is only five years only and I am not sure what I can do.  I am a signal mom and emergency dental care is going to cost me money I do not have.   I tried calling some local dentist seeing if they would take my son and do some type of payment plan but I was told not unless I have good credit.   I know I do not have good credit but I do not want my son to stay in pain.

Pediatric dental care, picking the right dentist

Feb. 26th 2010

My son is going on two.  I took him to our family dentist however he was not behaving himself well with our dentist.   I like our dentist but I think part of the problem was that we had a long wait before we got to see him since they were running behind.

Feb. 25th 2010

My six year old son pulled out two of his baby teeth before they were really ready to come out.  Now he is a big gap on the top front part of his mouth.   I am a little upset with him because he did it because is older brother baby teeth were coming naturally and he wanted his to come out too.

Shark teeth, what a pain that would be to floss.

Feb. 25th 2010

The fact is unlike sharks we do not get replacement teeth beyond our baby teeth.  That is why it is very important that we teach our children how to take care of their teeth now.  Children that learn how to take correct care of their baby teeth will normally take care of their adult teeth.

Baby teeth that are not coming out.

Feb. 24th 2010

Seven year old son adult teeth is coming out behind his front bottom baby teeth.  I just notice today that two permanent teeth are starting to come out behind his baby teeth.  His baby teeth are not even loose yet.   Is this normal?   Will the baby teeth get push out or will they stay like that?  Should I take him to the dentist?    Advise please

Losing baby Teeth

Feb. 24th 2010

My son is at the age were he is starting to use is first baby tooth.  It seems that he is sad about losing his tooth and does not want it to come out.  As anyone had this problem before?  I told him he would get his adult tooth to replace it shortly afterwords but he says he wants his baby tooth.  Should I just not make a big deal about this since it not like it is going to stay in.  What would you advise?

My baby has bad gas

Feb. 23rd 2010

My baby’s terrible gas?

My 4 month old son has really bad gas.  It does not seem to upset or bother him for the most part he just passes it.   The issue is it really sinks like he went poo all the time.  He seem happy and I breast feed him so I am not sure why he is so gassy.   Any advise on how to settle this problem down.   Should I go to the doctor about this or just let it go since he does not seem trouble by it.
