Just had tooth extraction when can you eat

Saturday, Feb. 13th 2010 11:04 AM

My four year old just had two teeth pulled one in the back the other was in the front.  He seems okay with really no pain.  The problem is he is crying because he is hungry.  It has only be two hours since the extraction and the dental office advised him not to eat for at least four hours.

Since he is really hungry do you think it would be okay for him to have a little something to tide him over.  I mean it would be something really soft.
