Pediatric dental care, picking the right dentist

Friday, Feb. 26th 2010 6:30 AM

My son is going on two.  I took him to our family dentist however he was not behaving himself well with our dentist.   I like our dentist but I think part of the problem was that we had a long wait before we got to see him since they were running behind.

My son is normally well behaved.  Now my dentist will not see him since he did not really behave well with him.  This is upsetting to me since it was more their fault for being so far behind and keeping use waiting.  I did not get charged but my son still needs to see a dentist.

How do I pick a good pediatric dentist for my son that will not be giving up because my son will not be still?  I do not want to have him go though the same thing with a different dentist. Not only was it upsetting for my son for it was a complete waste of my time as well.  What I need is good advise in picking a pediatric dentist.
