Miserable about weight gain during pregnancy
As stated in one of my last post, I am going to be a new mom. I am happy and excited over the prospect that my husband and I are starting our family together. However, I have always worked very hard at maintaining a slim form and keeping my weight were it needs to be. I come from a fat family so putting on another 22 pounds at four months is very hard for me. My doctor says it is normal and I will probably gain more before the baby comes.
I am eating very healthy foods and I am not trying to lose weight, I would just like to know about how much weight is normal to gain while pregnant? Also everyone tells me how are pregnancy weight is hard to lose. Is that true?

Well you know you are gaining baby weight. Do not stress out about it. Weight is only a real issue with pregnancy when you use pregnancy to over eat and to eat junk food you would not normally eat. This does not seem like you so once you have the baby most of the weight will be gone. Then you may only be dealing with a few pounds and a little stretched out tummy.
Which goes back to normal with a little light daily workout. People that say how baby weight is so hard to lose is because they gain excessive weight from over eating in the first place.
A friend of mine gained 70 pounds when she was pregnant. She would keep saying how she was eating for two. That was just a big cop out to over eating. Believe me I do not think that anyone is going to have a 60 pound baby.
By the way it did take her a year to lose all that weight after having her 5.5 pound baby boy. =P
Just stay healthy and have a wonderful baby

Grace as a point but the fact is when you are pregnant you are going to gain some weight. Whether it is from over eating or not weight gain and pregnancy for most people go hand in hand.
Just be careful not to over eat and to stay a healthy weight for you and your baby. Do not worry so much over how your body is changing while you are pregnant. Once you have your baby after healing time you can get back into the shape you want.
