Baby names and meanings
My husband and I will be having twin boys soon and thinking up good names for them has been a real hard process for both of us to come to an agreement. I have been searching on line for some good boys names and going over them with my husband. We will work it out I am not asking for some unknown person to name our sons.
I was just wondering since I have been doing a name search just how important is the meaning behind the names they give are? Where do the meaning of a name even come from? Do people make that a factor when choosing the right name?

I am sure there are some people that may take the meaning of the name into count. However, I am not sure where the meanings come from. For fun once I check up the meaning for my name on a few different sites and each time I got a different meaning.
So who to say which is right if any. I think it more for fun then accurate information. Heck choosing a good name you can live with can be hard enough let alone worry about some crazy meaning to it.

My name is Gina and my parents just like the Italian name since they are Italian decent. It was my middle name that they got all into the meaning only to find out many years latter they got it all wrong anyway.
So the meaning to my middle names has no really meaning any more. It is a joke now and something they laugh at.
