How do you treat Baby Acne

Saturday, Mar. 13th 2010 8:57 PM

My newborn has a touch of baby acne.  The doctor says it it not bad and not to worry just to use a mild soup and water.  Well I have been doing that but do not see that it is really helping any.  I want to have her acne cleared up a soon as possible.  Is there any other treatment that would work at clearing up baby acne?

Do not worry about it the best thing for baby acne is to do as the doctors tell you. Use mild soup. Do not over wash or use additional products. My daughter had it too and it did clear up over time. About a two months.

If you still do not see any improvement talk to your child doctor again and see if they have anything strong they could advise you to get.

Give it some more time to see improvement. If you do not see the acne clearing up on it own the take your daughter to see a skin doctor. A dermatologist may be able to advise you better on what you can use for your baby acne.

It is useful to try everything in practice anyway and I like that here it’s always possible to find something new. :)

I would appreciate more visual materials, to make your blog more attractive, but your writing style really compensates it. But there is always place for improvement
