Two year old son tooth extraction

Wednesday, Mar. 17th 2010 8:31 AM

My two year old just had to have two teeth removed due to carries.   Is other teeth are fine  and the dentist is keeping an eye on them.  The question I have is this, what can I do for the pain that he is now in.  It is not a lot but it does hurt him to eat even soft foods.  The dentist did not give him anything.  Should a baby aspirins be okay?   Also is there a way to make his gums heal faster?
