Rum for teething pain?
My six month old girl has be having some teething pain lately pretty bad. The baby Tylenol only works a little in helping her with the pain. I have gotten her teething toys and rings but she not really into them. My brother inlaw keeps saying to rub rum on her gums that it will help with soothing the pain. He swears by this but I am just not to sure. Anyone know if that is any good for a baby?

It is alcohol so would it help teething gums? It may help numb them a little. As for soothing your child, well it would really only take a little alcohol to do that but then you would be giving alcohol to a baby.
NOT something I would advise or ever do myself. Though I had heard of people the did. I would say do not do it. Doing something like that is more for your benefit then your child.
