Seven year old with a painfull toothache

Please help.  My daughter has a very painful toothache.  I have called the dentist but the soonest he can get her in is two days from now.  He is a really good dentist and I am not going to go to someone I do not know.  The problem is what to do in the mean time.   How can I help ease the pain that my daughter has with her tooth?
