Nursing son is biting

Tuesday, Apr. 13th 2010 3:17 PM

My son is eight  months old and I have been nursing him all this time.  However now for the last three days he has been biting me.  He is going though his teething process and has a few teeth.  I want to continue to nurse for a full year if possible but the biting has got to stop.  One time he bit an did not easily let go.  It was really painful.   He never did this before so I am left thinking it has to do with him teething.  Any useful advise would be great.
