Looking for a non group dental plan for braces I can get for my son
My son is thirteen and I was told by his dentist that I should be looking into getting him braces. He has a big over bite that the dentist said I should have fixed. I do have dental insurance though my job but it really does not cover much for braces only 200.00 a year so that is not much at all. I am looking for a dental insurance plan that covers more for the cost of braces that I could buy just for my son. Is there anything like that I could get for him?

Well HMO dental insurance plan would have a set cost for braces you may want to see if that is something you can afford. For the most part it would be for your regular braces but at least it would be much more affordable

I got my daughter braces though a dental discount plan. She wanted clear braces since sh was seventeen. My dental insurance did not cover for the type of braces she wanted.
The discount plan work well for us. I put only my daughter on it and save %20 which is still a big saving compared to what you are saying you get for coverages.
