Baby Dental Care, Getting my teething baby to sleep.

Wednesday, Jun. 30th 2010 8:41 AM

So my son has just started teething.  He is okay and seems to be so what soothed when I am holding him during the day when he is getting fussy over his teething.  My problem is that then he sleeps to much during the day and does not sleep at night were then his teething becomes an issue and he cries to the point that even my holding him does not help much.

Need some good teething advise.  Should I hold him less when he is teething during the day?  That way he will get less sleep and hopefully more at night.   Need some good teething advise for night time teething and sleep.

Well if your son is falling asleep because you are holding him during the day too to either not hold as much and see if a teething ring will help him.

However if he is too up set by then then hold him but just do not let him fall to sleep while you are.

It can be hard because you do not want your baby to be crying and teething is a tough time for them. Just keep your son up it should not matter if your are holding him.

Make sure he gets the sleep in needs during the day just do not let him over sleep so that he is restless and teething at night.
