Adult tooth behind baby tooth, Should I have baby tooth pulled

Sunday, Jul. 4th 2010 5:57 PM

My son who is seven has a permanent tooth coming out behind a baby tooth.  The baby tooth is loose but has not came out yet.  I am not sure if I should continue to wait it out and see if the baby tooth falls out, or if I should got to the dentist to have it pulled.

I thought the adult teeth pushes out the baby tooth.  This will be his first baby tooth to come out so I am not sure why it just does not come out.  I do not want to pull on it.  So advice please.
