Dental teeth care for six year olds
My daughter is six and I am still the one flossing and brushing her teeth. Should she not now be old enough to do this on her own? If so how do I get her to start taking care of her own teeth. I do not mind but I also worry if I do not brush her teeht they will not get brushed. Advise needed.

Try having her pick out her next toothbrush. When you are buying tell her that she is a big girl not and can start brushing her teeth on her own. That’s why she is picking out her toothbrush that is just for her to use.
Then the next time she goes to brush her teeth brush with her. She brushes her teeth while you brush yours. By doing it together it may make it fun for her until you can have her brush without your supervision.
