Baby dental teeth care, Is candy really bad for our teeth

Friday, Sep. 17th 2010 8:40 AM

I have a seven year old that  love candy.  I guess like most kids do.  I do not give him much candy at home but he gets it from is friends or is dad.  He has had one cavity when he was five but that has been all so far.

I only will give him sugar free candy but my husband will give his sweets and candy when they are out together.  I ask him not to but he said as long as he brushes his teeth twice a day like he does there is nothing wrong with have some candy.  I was raised that candy is really bad for your teeth. I just wondering who is really correct here.
