Dental care for Children, Diabetes Impacts Oral Health

Friday, May. 27th 2011 6:20 AM

For children and adults with diabetes, regular dental care should be a routine part of general health care.   This is statement is true for any one but more so when you are a diabetic.  A child or an adult who has diabetes also has a higher risk of dental and oral health issues.  Seeing a dentist more often may be required in order to have the best preventive oral health care.  If you or your child is a diabetic,  clearly inform your dentist in order to get proper dental care to meet your health needs.
