When should I add my new baby to my dental insurance plan?

When should I add my new baby to my dental insurance plan? I bought a dental insurance plan for just my husband I over a year ago on this website. I will be having our first child in a few months and I not sure when is a good time to add our new born to our dental insurance plan. Do I wait until it comes up of renewal or can our baby be added midterm.
