Pregnancy and Dental Health Connection.

Thursday, Sep. 1st 2011 7:29 AM

I am twenty and having my first baby. I am only three months pregnant but my teeth have become very sensitive lately. It has been hard on my teeth eating solid foods. I also have one of my wisdom teeth coming in and although that is not hurting me now I worry that it may start causing some issues latter.

I am worried about infection because of my teeth because I heard that it can effect the baby development. How safe is it for me to see a dentist and can I even have any dental work done now that I am pregnant?
