Baby Dental Care, Baby Teeth Development.

I have a six month old that has not yet started teething. He does not have even one tooth yet.  I am a new mom this being my first child and all I am not sure when I should expect to see this teeth coming in.  Is his running late? I heard that baby start teething by now. How much longer should it take for his teeth to come in?
