Baby Dental, Daughter has two cavities

Tuesday, Mar. 31st 2015 6:33 AM

Question: I am not sure why my daughter has cavities, I have her brush her teeth after breakfast and dinner.  Although they are just her baby teeth I do not want her to continue to get cavities. Not sure what I should do about this.  The dentist says to get her to floss more.  The truth is right now she does not floss.   Getting her to brush is hard enough.

Answer: Be there to watch your daughter brushing her teeth she may not be really brushing them or brushing them correctly. Also try and make brushing fun. Let her pick out her own tooth brush, brush your teeth with her so she can see you are having fun brushing and she can also see how to brush correctly
