Baby Dental, $1500 max for dental work is that alot?

Tuesday, Sep. 15th 2015 8:52 AM

Question: I have been looking into dental insurance plans for me and my four year old son. I not sure if a $1500.00 max limitation is a lot or not.  How much work can you get done for $1500.00. Oh that is per person. So I guess it is more like $3000.00 a year for the both of us. Is that normally enough for a family a year?

Answer: That would depend on your dental needs. If all you are doing is the twice a year cleaning’s and checks, and a filling once in a while the $1500.00 maximum limitation should be fine. However if you larger dental need like root canal crowns etc. then $1500.00 may not be enough. In that case you may want to look for a plan with a higher max per year.
