Baby Dental, The Role Baby Teeth Have

Saturday, Oct. 1st 2016 6:31 AM

Some adults do not feel that baby teeth are all that important and therefore do not need as much dental care as adult teeth.  However baby teeth do play an important role in speech development, a child’s appearance and facial structure, nutrition and ensuring that their permanent teeth erupt in their normal positions.

So although baby teeth are eventually replaced with per5manent teeth, it is essential to keep baby teeth healthy.  Decay and infection in baby teeth can cause damage to developing permanent teeth.
