What can you expect at your baby’s dental appointment

During this visit, you can expect the dentist to:

* The dentist will inspect for oral injuries, cavities or other problems.
* The dentist will let you know if your child is at risk of developing tooth decay.
* The dentist will clean your child’s teeth and provide tips for daily care.
* You can discuss with your child’s dentist about teething, pacifier use, or finger/thumbsucking habits.
* You will also be able to talk to your child’s dentist about recommended treatment, if needed, and schedule the next check-up.
