Baby Dental – Not Teething Yet

Tuesday, Dec. 29th 2020 12:11 PM

My daughter is going on seven months and has not yet started teething. I am a little worried since my sister children started teething a six months. My daughter does not show any signs of teething yet. When the latest that a baby would be teething at? Should I take her to the dentist now to make sure she has teeth coming in?

Reply: Not all babies will start teething around the same time frame some take longer. Sure six months is the norm however, some babies start teething before they are four months old, and some after 12 months. Yet, If you are worried about the time frame, seeing a dentist can put your mind at ease. When in doubt taking her to see a dentist is a good idea.
