Baby Dental Care, After care of teeth extractions

Wednesday, Jul. 14th 2010 8:47 AM

My daughter will be having two baby teeth pulled by the dentist.  She is 12 and the two baby teeth are in the back.   The dentist said they should be pulled since the adult teeth are there and are not pushing the baby teeth out.

I am wondering about how long will it take the dentist to pull the baby teeth.  My daughter will not be going to sleep she will only be numbed out.  After she has the teeth pulled will she be in a lot of pain?  What kind of aftercare treatment is there?   Advise would be good I have never had any teeth pulled by the dentist so I am not sure the process.
