Dental care for baby, What is the first dental appointment like

Appointment at the dentist

My son is a 11 months old and he now has five teeth. I will be taking him in for his first dental appointment on Friday.  I a have been told that I should have taking him in at six months but he only had one tooth at the time. I would like to have some idea as to what the first dental appointment is like. What dose the dentist do? What kind of questions should I ask? Any advice would help.
