Extensive dental work while caring for a new born.

Monday, Aug. 15th 2011 6:39 AM

I will be having extensive dental treatments including extractions, implants, root canals, fillings, the whole nine. It will be an ongoing process, but I’ll finally be able to smile without feeling so self-conscious about how my teeth look.

Anyway I also have a three month old son that I am nursing. My question is not about medications etc. safe to take while nursing; I got all that information from my doctor. What I would like to know is if

has anyone had such extensive dental work done while caring for a new born. I wondering if I should wait until my baby get older since I am the one home taking care of her I need to be in fit shape and I wondering if the having the dental work now would cause me too much pain? Not sure.
