At what age can a child start brushing their teeth on their own.

Monday, Jun. 18th 2012 1:18 PM

Let your child start brushing their teeth on their own as soon as they are willing.  You want to encourage your child to have good dental habits so even though they may not be able to do a good job brushing their teeth until they are around seven years old or so if they want to try soon let them.  If you brush your teeth with your child you then can check each other teeth to see if they are clean.  This will give you a chance to go over your child teeth with a quick once over.
