Baby Dental, What is the best stage during pregnancy to have dental care.

Sunday, Apr. 3rd 2016 8:17 AM

Question: I am only a month and a half along in my pregnancy.  For the last few day one of my molars have been hurting me.  I a worried that I may need a root canal since I had a filling in that same tooth over a year ago.   I know I will have a limited selection of pain medication but I need to treat and fix my molar before the pain get worst.  I do not think I can wait out the seven and a half months I have left.   Can I get the dental work done sooner without worry to my baby?

Answer: Yes you can have dental work done while you are pregnant. Just let the dentist know that you are pregnant a head of time. If you are worried about seeing a dentist talk to your OBGYN.

It is not good for your baby if you are in pain. Plus you do not want your teeth to get infected that is not good for you or the baby either.
