How can you make brushing your teeth fun for your child
My daughter is seven and although she does brush her teeth is is a bit of hazel every time. When I tell her it is time to brush she wines about it. If she goes and brushes her teeth with out complaining then she does a really half ass job. She already had two cavities that had to get fillings, but that does not seem to bother her since she likes going to the dentist.
Is there anything I can do to make her want to brush her teeth and do so correctly? My son who is only five has no problems about brushing. He is cute, he tells his sister that she is going to have black teeth if she does not brush. To bad she does not seem to care.

Try brushing your teeth with her. Brushing your teeth together may be a way to get her to not only brush her teeth with less trouble but may also get her to brush longer since you are there to watch that it gets done. Also if you have not already let her pick out her own tooth brush. She may brush more if it is with a tooth brush she picked out.

Have you tried getting her a virabrating tooth brush? Kids seems to like those types of tooth brush better. They are good for child that tend not to brush as well as they should.
