More dental work needed for my son dental carries

Monday, May. 17th 2010 10:57 AM

My two year old son  as dental carries and I am at lost as to want to do.  He some how got BBTD when I never feed him with a bottle.  I nurse him the only time he as a bottle was when I would give him water.

I notice that his teeth looked bad when he was a year old and I took him to see my dentist.  He told me that my son has carries and that I needed to fix his teeth or he could have damage to his adult teeth later.   Four filling latter I though he would be okay.

I am always brushing his teeth and taking care so  to avoid any more cavities.  Now at two his other teeth are looking like the have issues.  I now have dental insurance and I am not paying cash I am suck waiting for an appointment that is not in another two weeks.

I was also told that the type of plan I have they have to submit the claim  for approval  to the insurance company before they will do any work.  This can put me out for another month.  I am so worried that is too long to wait.  The last time I waited my son had to have all thoughts fillings.

Should I just pay again out of my pocket or will it be okay to wait?   I just not sure but have to let the dental office which way I am going to go by the time our appointment comes up.  Advise please.
