Baby root canal on a back bottom molar
My daughter needs to have a baby root canal done on a back bottom molar. Her dentist told me that even though it had a filling on that tooth already since she got another cavity along the side of the filling it went further down and now needs to have the root canal done.
She is nine and the root canal and cap she will also need is going to be too costly since she has to see a specialist which my dental insurance will not cover for. The dentist said he could pull it but advises for me to try and save the tooth. So it like I feel if I tell him to pull the tooth he will look down on me. Should I just have it pulled I not sure where to get the money to do what he wants me to do.
