Baby Dental, What is the aftercare a baby tooth extraction
My five year old son, just had three baby teeth removed do to dental carries. When the dentist was done with the extractions my son wanted to go home. I know I should have taken more time to ask the dentist about his aftercare but I was only thinking of my son at the time. My son needs to go back to the dentist in a week to be fitted for space maintainers. So besides trying to keep his mouth clean is there anything else I should be doing for him?
Answer: I suggest that you call the dental office and ask about any special after care instructions your son may need. Yes it is important to keep his mouth clean but the dentist can go over the do and don’t of what is needed.
