Baby Dental, Dental Insurance Plan Limitations

Tuesday, Dec. 13th 2016 6:04 AM

All Dental Plans have their Limitations: Today’s health insurance, including your dental plan, is designed to help you get the care you need at a reasonable cost. Because each person’s oral health is different, costs can vary widely. To control dental treatment costs plans have their own limitations.

Such as many PPO’s dental insurance plans have waiting periods, annual maximum dollar limitations and deductibles or office co-pays. Whereas many HMO’s dental insurance plans will limit you on how many like services you may have. Such as 2 cleaning a year or no more then 4 to 5 crowns within a given year.  Make sure you read each dental insurance plan terms and conditions carefully to fully understand the limitations that are set within the plan
