Sunday, Jan. 21st 2018 7:56 AM

If you think you may have a dental abscess it is very important not to delay dental treatment. Make sure to see a dental professional as quickly as possible. If dental abscess are treated promptly you may be able to avoid having the infected tooth removed. If you have to wait a day or two before seeing a dentist then make sure to maintain proper oral hygiene. Continue to brush and floss even it it hurts a little to do so. Do not be trick into thinking you do not have to see a dentist. There are times when pain associated with a dental abscess ma;y go away if the tooth root has died. However that does not mean that the infection is gone and you do not need to see a dentist. In fact the infection from a dental abscess can still spread throughout your body.
