Baby Dental – Baby Tooth Knocked Out

Saturday, Nov. 28th 2020 9:30 AM

My son who is only five knock out a baby tooth why he was at the playing in the yard. Even though it is only a baby tooth and he would lose it anyway given time I am worried it was just too soon. Should he see a dentist?

Reply: You should be able to have him see his dentist. One option he or she may suggest is a space maintainer so that his other teeth do not start to shift and his adult teeth will be able to come in correctly.
