Baby Dental, 3.5 month old son is getting a tooth

Teething so Soon

Question: I just notice that my son is already getting a tooth in.  He seems find and is not fussing to much because of it.  However, it is the eye tooth  that is coming in first.  I thought it is weird he is teething already,  but for that tooth to come in first seems odd to me too.  Anyone else baby teeth at such a young age?

Reply: Although it is not the norm to teeth at 3.5 months it has been know to happen. I would suggest (as advise by the ADA: That a baby should see a dentist as soon as the first tooth is cut or no latter then one year of age) to take him to see a dentist.
