When do babies start getting their baby teeth

Sunday, Mar. 21st 2010 7:18 AM

I am a little worried that my daughter who is seven months have not started teething.  I though that babies started teething at around five or six months.  My sister son started getting his first tooth before he was six months.

How much longer should I have to wait?  Should I take her to the dentist to see if she has any baby teeth ?  Can a baby not get their baby teeth?  Her doctor said she was just fine and seems to think I am over re-acting and to give it time.  But she does not state how much more time.
