New York baby dental care for a two year old

My son is two and a half years old and I know it is a little past time for him to see a dentist.  I do not have dental insurance benefits from my job and I am not sure how to go about buying on line dental insurance.

I would like to know since I do not have much money could I get a dental insurance plan for just my son right now.  He is really all I care about.   Can you suggest a good low cost dental plan I want my son to have healthly teeth and I know he needs to see a dentist.
