Baby Dental Teething Pain.

Sunday, Jan. 27th 2013 12:16 PM

Typically teething beings when your child is six to seven months old.  There are many signs of teething but here is a list of a few main signs to look out for.

Baby drooling excessively
Baby gumming or biting
Baby becoming more irritable or excessive crying
Loss of appetite

There are many ways to help ease the pain of teething such as using a clean, cool washcloth to gently massage the gums. Offer the child a cool teething ring or a teething biscuit. However make sure to slways supervise your child when using a teething biscuit because of the potential choking hazard. Talk to your doctor or dentist before using over-the-counter pain reducers or desensitizing gel.
