Baby Dental, Tooth Extraction Concerns

Saturday, Mar. 15th 2014 9:29 AM

My son is five and needs to have a tooth pulled in the back due to a large size cavity.   I was advised that I may want to look into getting dental insurance but not sure what type of dental insurance would would best for us.  I live in Los Angeles California can you advise which would be the better plan for me to get?

Answer: If you are wanting to stay with your son current dentist, find out what dental insurance plans they are a provider of first. Then look into the dental insurance plans they accept and see which one will provide better benefits for your son needs.   Otherwise you may want to review dental HMO insurance plan as these types of dental insurance plan will normally not have long term waiting periods for the dental service your son currently needs.
