Baby Dental – What is A Dental Flippers

Friday, May. 27th 2022 10:11 AM

A dental flipper is a type of partial denture to replace one or more missing teeth. They are typically meant to be a temporary solution for missing baby tooth/teeth until a permanent tooth/teeth grows in.

When the flipper replaces a permanent tooth, it may serve as a placeholder until the person gets an implant. The flipper is lightweight and removable. This apparatus resembles a retainer, as it has clasps on the side that fit around the natural teeth.
