Baby teeth to fix or not to fix

Wednesday, Dec. 23rd 2009 10:25 PM

Son has four cavities in his baby teeth

So I took my son for his dentist appointment and was told he had four cavities one on the front tooth and three on the back teeth.  The problem I am having is that it will cost me over five hundred dollars for him to have all the cavities filled.   That is a lot of money to us right now.  It seem to me like why bother when baby teeth will fall out anyway.

Are there any risk for me not to have the filling done.  I would have the filling done if he was in pain or something, but he is fine his teeth do not hurt him.  Why fix something that is going to fall out any way.   Advise please
