Cavity on a baby tooth

Monday, May. 3rd 2010 9:56 AM

One of my daughter’s  molar baby tooth just came out.  When she gave it to me it look like on the side of it there was a small cavity.  It has a brown spot on it.  My husband says it looks like a stain to him but I think it is a cavity.  If the tooth had a cavity on it,  since it was on the side of the tooth could the remaining tooth that was next to it have a cavity too?

The tooth it was next to is a permanent tooth.  My daughter saw the dentist about three months ago and had no cavities then.  Am I making to big a deal about this. Or should I take her to see the dentist to make sure she does not have any cavities on the other tooth.?
