Baby Dental, Which toothbrush is better for kids, Manual or Electric

Tuesday, Jun. 1st 2010 10:16 AM

Well my daughter is five and she has been good all week.  So I told her she can pick out her next tooth brush since it is almost due to be changed anyway.  I still what her to get the best tooth brush for kids but with so many types of tooth brushes I am not sure what that would be.  Putting aside the kid friendly picture on the tooth brush what is the best type of brush to get for  kid?   Manual or Electric? Which will do the best job of getting her teeth clean?

It is really up to your child. Let your child choose their tooth brush. Hopefully if they like their brush they will brush more often.

The point is to brush there is no real difference between the two unless your child prefers one over the other

While it is true there is no real difference in Manual or Electric toothbrush. I find that my kids like to brush more with an electric toothbrush. So whenever you can get your child to brush more often and for a longer time it is a good thing. I would go for electric toothbrush for the kids.
